Every day, children across Grayson County are using social media, playing online games, and communicating through messaging apps. But do you really know who they’re talking to?
Online predators don’t always look like predators. They can pose as friends, classmates, or someone who simply shares your child’s interests. They know how to build trust, manipulate conversations, and exploit vulnerabilities.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office wants to help you recognize those dangers before it’s too late.
On November 9, our investigators who specialize in child exploitation and trafficking will share their firsthand experience investigating these crimes, explain the warning signs parents should recognize, and provide practical steps you can take to better protect your children.
This isn’t about frightening parents. It’s about empowering them with knowledge.
