Richard Williams Jr. with the United Way of Horry County was back in the studio for United Way in Action.
Richard speaks about the upcoming United to Read event happening on November 10th where community volunteers will join every first grade classroom in Horry County Schools to read a book and do an activity with the children. The event is in partnership with HCS to promote literacy and community engagement.
The United Way is also in the middle of their fall sessions for Ready, Set, Kindergarten! Sign-ups are ongoing for parents of 4-year-olds who are interested. Visit
